Join us for this Messy program and spend some quality time nurturing your little ones while exploring and creating art in a relaxed, social setting.
Messy Mornings promotes sensory explorations, foster imagination, enhance colour recognition, encourage experiments and create a positive attitude towards new experiences, all while creating lasting memories.
Each session has been carefully planned to link children’s experiences and activities with the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) and the world around them. This allows the children the opportunity to wonder, discover and explore, giving them a sense of belonging.
Our Messy Mornings are tailored to suit a range of abilities, and centre around artworks that are on exhibition or showcase current events. Mess about, bond, play and interact with your kids under the guidance of a qualified Artist Educator. The activities are designed to enrich children’s creativity and awareness of the visual world around them whilst also helping to develop fine motor skills.
Ticket includes admission for one child and their parent/carer.

About the Artist Educator
Teagan Sinnott is a mum of three and head of Maggie Moo Music Rockhampton team, and is never afraid to get a little messy when being creative with children.
As a child, she was always inspired to be artistic, with a mother who was always leading the charge in the art departments at playgroup, Kindergarten, school and even into adulthood. Teagan values the time and memories made while creating with her own family and this inspires her work with young people now. Since 2019, Teagan has been co-ordinating 'moosical' and sensory sessions for little ones across the region. With over 100 messy sessions already under her belt, Teagan is confident to lead carers through the morning at RMOA – first time messy makers always welcome!
Teagan absolutely adores sharing her love of sensory exploration with families and thrives on adding that little bit extra to the program.
